You Deal With the Owner
Logan Earthworks is owner-operated. When you call, you talk to Jeff. He is the one who looks at your ground, tells you what it needs, and sees the job through to the last pass. Nothing gets lost between an office and a crew, because there is no gap between them.
We are based in Farmdale, in Trumbull County. From there we work across northeastern and eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania and the northern panhandle of West Virginia. Trumbull, Mahoning, southern Ashtabula and Mercer County are our own back yard. Farther out, we travel for land clearing, forestry mulching and site work. The work is simple to describe and hard to do well: take ground that is overgrown, rough, wet or in the wrong shape, and leave it clean, graded and ready for what comes next. That might be a house, a pole barn, a pond, a pasture, a hunting trail or just a yard you can mow.
The Machines We Bring
The right machine makes the job quicker and leaves less mess. These are the machines you will see in our job photos.
- Tracked excavators, including a CAT excavator, for clearing, digging and trenching
- A dozer for cutting slopes, spreading fill and rough grading
- A compact track loader for finish grading, pond banks and tight spots
- A tracked forestry mulcher that cuts and mulches brush and small trees in place
- A stump grinding head for taking stumps below ground level
- A drone, so you can see the finished job from above
